Maki Takizawa is a practising printmaker who handles a variety of print techniques and keeps trying to develop them constantly. 

Her works are inspired by the inherent beauty of natural forms, textures, and details that pair up with consciousness and subconsciousness. 

She presumes that being fascinated by the beauty of natural phenomena and consciousness/subconsciousness is a piece of the puzzle in her creation.
